Well I’m entering my second week of turkey camp here in Michigan and I’ve had some awesome experiences so far! I’m determined to take a tom with my bow (Bowtech Carbon Rose) but it is proving challenging to get one to come within range. I have been able to call several in but am having trouble closing the last 70 yards. (Except for the pair of hens that walked 1 foot from me! More on that later.) Heading out for the evening hunt now but wanted to share this quote that has really been inspiring me recently from Thoreau.
