There’s A First Time For Everything
I had a new article published last month (see Portfolio above or click link at bottom of post) in the private hunting journal – KYH. The story is about my hunting Grand Slam completion in Patagonia during a 2013 trip. What I don’t mention in the article is that I was accompanied on the trip by my mom, aunt, and older sister. I am really fortunate, and have written about it, to be apart of a family where opportunities to hunt and travel with my female relatives abound. Growing up, and still to this day, when my family gathers we all like to talk about hunting adventures. My grandmothers, mother, aunts, sisters all have many stories to tell and we’re always coming up with new hunting wish trips for the future. My poor Dad (a great outdoorsman), and other relatives who happen to be male, don’t usually end up being able to get a word in edgewise!
My 2013 trip to Patagonia was definitely one I will remember as long as I live. Check out some bonus photos from my trip and also visit our lodge’s site for some serious travel inspiration. It is a vast, beautiful, and rugged area of the world – all the best places are.
Congrats on the grand slam!
