Last month I accepted a position as a regular writer for an outdoor site called WideOpenSpaces. WOS is a constantly flowing stream of outdoor (hunting, fishing, shooting, general) news, videos, etc.! I’ve written several articles for them so far and, although the writing requirements are demanding, I am really enjoying the experience. There was some self-doubt at first on whether I would be able to keep up, be good enough, find a voice… But ultimately I believe putting yourself out there is the biggest step. So I am off and running with this new gig. My article topics are all over the place — some I love more than others but its all good writing experience. I won’t post every piece in my portfolio, just my top favorites occasionally.
